    Living Light Mennonite ChurchLiving Light Mennonite Church (Washington Boro, PA) seeks a part-time (35-50%) Discipleship Pastor. The Discipleship Pastor will serve as a leader of the congregation, along with the Lead Team and Co-Lead Pastors, discerning vision, empowering members of the congregation, and modeling a life of humble obedience to Jesus.   • VOLUNTEER – Child Care Assistant & English Language Assistant

    Child Care Assistant

    Help to maintain a safe and fun environment for preschool children while their parents participate in our programs. Duties include setting up/cleaning up the play area, playing with the children, maintaining a clean environment, and monitoring the children to ensure that they play and interact with one another in a safe and appropriate manner at the NEIGHBORS Community Center.

    Wednesdays, 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
    Tuesdays and/or Thursdays, 9:15 to 11:45 a.m. and/or 5:45 to 8:30 p.m.

    English Language Assistant

    Help teach English to non-native speakers using our provided curriculum. Assist the teacher with fun and interactive lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback to help our new neighbors improve their language skills.

  • Volunteer Receptionists Needed

    EMM and LMC are thankful for the volunteer receptionists we have now, but we need a few more. Currently, a regular Tuesday afternoon shift is available, and substitute receptionists are needed to fill the shifts when regular volunteers can’t make it. General responsibilities include welcoming guests to EMM and LMC offices, answering the phone, and transferring calls. The role consists of occasional and light projects such as collating or folding things, but there will be time for personal reading or projects.
